Sr. Specialist European Public Relations & External Communications
As a Sr. Specialist European Public Relations & External Communications you are the 1st line liaising between the Bridgestone Japan PR department and the European regional sales companies in terms of Public Relations and External communications. You give 1st line practical and operational support to regional sales companies, plants, TCE and BSEU departments related to PR enquiries and support the PR/media reach of increasing number of pan EU/global corporate and brand initiatives.
You organise, set up and manage pan EU media monitoring system and prepare relevant reporting for management. You update and improve the sections of the Corporate Websites and Intranet related to Public relations, and proactively assist managing media at events (shows, press trips).
Furthermore, you prepare, gather and brief copywriters on press release topics, following the strategy of constantly increasing the volume and quality level of press releases and gradually increase focus on lifestyle media. You also prepare and share a weekly press release plan with Bridgestone Americas/Japan and other EU regions.
You are in charge of the digital media news room and manage the workflow with an external agency to ensure online availability of latest video material, photos and news stories. You are the main contact/organizer for the BSEU Corporate Brochure, Corporate Presentation and Crisis Manuals/website.
Education (type & level) :
Bachelor in a related field (PR, Communications, Marketing, Advertising) or equivalent by experience
You can benefit from 3 years of experience in Corporate Communications and/or Public Relations, in an international working environment. Experience in the automotive sector is a clear asset.
