VIE – UE Public Affairs Advisor

Your objective is to strengthen our position at EU policy level including our dialogue with various European institutions and the broader EU stakeholder community.

Tasks :

• Support the EU Public affairs team in Bussels in their work.
• Help build L’Oréal EU office institutional communication tools and organization of EU policy related events
• Monitor policy development of impact to L’Oréal , analyze legal texts and evaluate implications; support the building of presentations and position papers.
• Implement public affairs strategies at EU level focusing on selected policy dossiers
• Develop and maintain a network of relevant stakeholders within the EU institutions and the EU stakeholders community, and in L’Oréal


Qualifications :

· You have minimum 1 years of experience with EU affairs (i.e. the European Parliament, Commission, Industry or public affairs agency), and you have an excellent understanding of internal EU institutional procedures and the EU decision-making process and you have profound knowledge of the wider EU political and stakeholder environment.

· You have a master’s degree from university or business school, preferably in an area related to law, public policy or  economics,  and you possess the ability to find effective ways to make the EU public affairs objectives beneficial to L’Oréal .

· As a person, you are outgoing with a dynamic personality and you possess the ability to work independently as well as in teams. You have a strong analytical mind set and excellent communication as well as interpersonal skills, and you are accustomed to working with various groups and using various communication channels

It is imperative, that you are fluent in French and English both orally and in writing. Working level of another EU language is an asset.
