Communications Coordinator (m/f/d)

Brussels, Belgium

Carnegie Europe, a premier international affairs think tank based in Brussels and part of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, seeks a communications coordinator to assist the communications manager with the implementation of the center’s communications strategy and outreach campaigns.


The communications coordinator will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Carnegie Europe’s communications strategy. Duties include managing Carnegie Europe’s social media platforms; copyediting short-form articles for Carnegie Europe’s blog; assisting with website management; drafting, reviewing and distributing newsletters and event invitations; monitoring and evaluating Carnegie Europe’s digital communications, including compiling marketing statistics; supporting the production of multimedia products; and helping develop Carnegie Europe’s communications strategy.


This position requires native or near-native level English, excellent writing skills, and 2 years of relevant experience in communications, subsequent to a university degree. Candidates must be living in or able to work full-time in Brussels. The ideal candidate will have a clear interest in European and international affairs, the ability to work well independently and as part of a team, and excellent time management and organizational skills. Experience with multimedia production, knowledge of HTML and content management systems (CMS), proficiency in social media, background in copyediting, and/or fluency in other EU languages, especially French, is desired.
